Bishkek, May 2, 2018 / Kabar /. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Muhammedkaliy Abylgaziev held a meeting on preparations for the Third World Nomad Games, the Kyrgyz Government’s press service reported.
The head of government noted that carrying out such large-scale events as the World Nomad Games will allow to expand the tourist potential of Issyk-Kul oblast and will become an effective platform for promoting the country's positive image in the world arena.
"The Kyrgyz people have a centuries-old history, rich and distinctive culture. The World Nomad Games is a unique opportunity to once again demonstrate to the whole world our traditions, national sports and original culture," Abylgaziev said.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister was informed about the preparation of the main activities, the necessary infrastructure, logistics, as well as security and law and order.
The head of government noted that the country has sufficient experience in holding such large-scale events.
"Our team is able to achieve the solution of the tasks set to correct the defects and omissions. Events in the political life of the state should not affect the quality of the Third World Nomad Games. Each state body, representatives of local authorities should make every effort to hold games at a high organizational level. The image of the whole country depends on this," Abylgaziev stressed.
Following the results of the meeting, the head of government instructed to resolve in a short time all the issues of preparation for the World Nomad Games and ensure targeted spending of budgetary and sponsorship funds.
