Kyrgyz president appoints new governor in Issyk-Kul Oblast

Bishkek, Sept. 28, 2022. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov signed a Decree on appointing Iliyaz Imanbetov the governor (Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic) in Issyk-Kul Oblast.

Imanbetov will replace Altynbek Sulaimanov, who resigned voluntarily.

Issyk-Kul is one of the seven oblasts of Kyrgyzstan. The resident population of the region was 501,933 as of January 2021.
