Bishkek, June 14, 2023. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov today took part in a solemn event on the occasion of honoring the country's rescuers.
The event began with a short film dedicated to the rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Speaking with a speech, Sadyr Zhaparov thanked for the heroism and courage of the Kyrgyz rescuers who saved human lives from death in the midst of a terrible catastrophe - an earthquake in Turkiye.
In his speech, he emphasized how the Kyrgyz Republic was in the forefront of those who extended a helping hand to the fraternal Republic of Turkiye in such a difficult situation by sending rescuers to search and rescue operations.
The head of state also noted and thanked the compatriots who did not stand aside and helped in every way they could, collecting various assistance to be sent to Turkiye.
During the event, the state awards were presented for active participation and shown courage and heroism in search and rescue activities after the earthquake in the territory of the Republic of Turkiye.
