Bishkek, Oct. 10, 2021 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov congratulated Zholaman Sharshenbekov - the silver medalist of the World Wrestling Championship in Oslo (Norway).
"Zholaman baatyr! I congratulate you on the silver medal of the World Wrestling Championship! You showed a worthy performance in the final, your achievement is equivalent to gold for us. Once again I congratulate all the winners of this world championship, the coaching staff, which perfectly prepared our athletes. I believe that our athletes will delight us with new victories. The state, in turn, will continue to support national sports in every possible way," the head of state wrote.
Earlier, Aisuluu Tynybekova and Meerim Zhumanazarova won gold medals among women, Aiperi Medet kyzy won a bronze medal in this championship. Among men in freestyle wrestling, Ernazar Akmataliev won silver and Alibek Osmonov a bronze medal.
