Bishkek, Sept. 3, 2020 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov, as part of his working trip to Chui Oblast, got acquainted with the digitalization of the healthcare system using the example of the united territorial hospital of Zhayil region, which was one of the first in the country to introduce elements of e-health into its work, the President’s press service reported.
Roza Alymkulova, Director of the Joint Territorial Hospital of Zhayil region, briefed that at present, medical personnel are using an electronic patient card and an electronic list of medicines when serving patients.
The head of state inspected the laboratory and the building of the intensive care unit of the united territorial hospital of the Zhayil region after major reconstruction.
Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted with satisfaction the success of the Zhayil hospital in digitalizing its activities. He stressed the need to introduce such systems in all health care institutions in the country. He noted that e-health will increase the efficiency and effectiveness in the treatment of patients.
The President also emphasized that digital technologies can save patients time, reduce administrative barriers, and medical workers, without paperwork, will pay more attention to quality patient care.
