Kyrgyz President-elect swears in on Constitution

Bishkek, Nov. 24, 2017 / Kabar/. President-elect Sooronbai Zheenbekov swore an oath on the Constitution of Kyrgyzstan.

The inauguration of Sooronbai Zheenbekov is taking place today in Bishkek. Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambaнev worked as the President of the country for 6 years since 2011.

For the first time in Kyrgyzstan there is a peaceful transfer of power.

450 people were invited to the inauguration ceremony, including Heroes of Kyrgyzstan, representatives of the public, creative and scientific intelligentsia, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, members of the Government, diplomatic corps, representatives of international organizations.
