Kyrgyz president extends moratorium on exempting farmers from land tax

Bishkek, Jan. 8, 2025. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov extended the moratorium on exempting farmers from land tax until 2030.

In his explanation of the decree on taxes President Zhaparov said that by 2030, the issue of land irrigation will be resolved.

“By 2030, we will resolve the issue of land irrigation, build primary and secondary irrigation canals, completely clean the existing ones and build new ones where necessary.

In general, we will resolve the problem of water for farmers. After that, we will start collecting taxes again,” he said adding that timely payment of taxes is the sacred duty of every citizen and called on the citizens to pay taxes on time.

President Sadyr Zhaparov signed today decrees on abolition of motor tax and extention of moratorium on exempting farmers from land tax until 2030.
