The Kyrgyz leader was informed that the mine operates smoothly and in the normal mode, employees of Kumtor Gold Company CJSC met with understanding the introduction of external management, wages are issued to them on time and in full, all payments and taxes to the budget of the country are carried out as planned.
In addition, the company launched a summer internship program and a two-year internship program for university graduates in order to provide university students with practical knowledge and a talent pool for the industry.
The president toured the gold extraction plant. It was noted that Kumtor Gold Company sold 44 thousand ounces of gold in less than a month of interim administration, resulting in a gross profit of $40 million.
Employees of the enterprise noted that when the development of richer ore is expected to increase the volume of gold production.
Sadyr Zhaparov also visited the pit, stressing the need to comply with the necessary safety requirements for mining operations.
