Kyrgyz president holding meeting of country’s Security Council

Bishkek, Sept. 1, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, Sept. 1 Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov is holding a meeting of the country’s Security Council with the participation of heads of state bodies, governors, mayors of the Bishkek and Osh cities, his press service reported.

The issue of measures for preparation and holding of parliamentary elections on Oct. 4, 2020 is considered at the Security Council’s meeting.

Chairwoman of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendum of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurzhan Shaildabekova and Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov are reporting on preparatory work for the elections amid coronavirus infection pandemic.
