Bishkek, Feb. 3, 2021 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov held a working meeting with members of the new government, his press service said.
The head of state noted that the activity of the new government falls on a transitional period, in connection with which they bear great responsibility.
Sadyr Zhaparov stressed the need to take prompt measures to address the priority tasks facing today. Among them, the president named the elimination of corruption and unjustified bureaucracy in the activities of state bodies.
He drew attention to the early distribution and approval of the functions of state bodies and administrative departments in accordance with the new structure of the government with the involvement of the expert and business communities.
The head of state noted the importance of ensuring the principles of unity, completeness and efficiency in the distribution of functions between ministries and departments.
In addition, Sadyr Zhaparov stressed that responsible leaders should be identified as soon as possible for the continuation of proper work to combat the spread of coronavirus infection and prepare for its possible new wave.
The president dwelled on the need to work out in the shortest possible time the government's anti-crisis program, to develop effective measures to create favorable conditions for entrepreneurs and investors, and to strengthen their protection.
Sadyr Zhaparov also noted the importance of ensuring food security, preventing an unjustified rise in prices for socially significant food products, as well as timely fulfillment of all social obligations of the state.
The head of state stressed that each member of the government, starting today, should begin preparing a list of reforms that will be carried out in the coming years in each of the sectors.
