Bishkek, April 5 / Kabar /. Today, on April 5, 2017, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev received Prosecutor General of the country Indira Djoldubaeva, the press service of the President reported.
During the meeting, President Atambayev handed over to the Prosecutor General the documents proving that in January 2003 he sold his stake in an industrial enterprise in the city of Izmir to a Turkish businessman for 45 billion then Turkish lira, or about $ 35 million. The information on the deal was published in the relevant newsletter of the Republic of Turkey on January 31, 2003.
Thus, these materials once again prove that Tekebayev's statement that the Atambayev’s money appeared only after 2010 is a slander.
At the same time Atambayev said that opposition leader Tekebayev as well as some of his party members and members of the Provisional Government should also provide information about the sources of the multimillion-dollar property that they had and their close relatives after the revolution on April 7, 2010.
Atambayev also said that parents and children of those killed on April 7, 2010, citizens who were seriously wounded demand this. “This is required by the public of the country! The Prosecutor General's Office should at last recall the relevant articles of the Criminal Code on illegal enrichment," he said.
