Kyrgyz president invites observers from CIS and other organizations to monitor parliamentary elections

Bishkek, Oct. 15, 2021 / Kabar /. “Ensuring and protecting the electoral rights and freedoms of citizens is one of the most important principles of the country's democratic development,” Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov told speaking at a CIS Summit via videoconferencing.

The head of state stressed that Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to the activities of the Commonwealth to monitor election processes in the CIS countries.

He informed that the parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan are scheduled for November 28, 2021.

“I am convinced that the missions of observers from the CIS and other organizations will be traditionally representative and take an active part in monitoring the parliamentary elections in our country,” Sadyr Zhaparov said.
