Kyrgyz President lays flowers at Monument to memory of those who died for freedom at Ala-Too Square

Bishkek, Apr. 7, 2018 / Kabar /. After visiting the Ata-Beyit memorial complex, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov laid flowers at the Monument to the memory of those who died for the freedom during the Aksy events of 2002 and the April 2010 events at the Ala-Too square, the President's press service reported.

This monument is made of two large stones, one black and one white, with a group of people pushing the black stone away from the white. This monument is dedicated to those who gave their lives in Aksy in 2002 and in the revolution in 2010 for a better future for Kyrgyzstan.
