Kyrgyz President leaves for Turkiye to attend OTS summit

Bishkek, March 15, 2023. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov left for Turkish capital of Ankara to attend an extraordinary meeting of the Summit of the Heads of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

The theme of the extraordinary meeting of the heads of state of the Organization is "Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance".

During the visit, the head of state also plans to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during which topical issues of bilateral cooperation will be discussed.

The official delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic consists of:

- Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev;

- Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Muratbek Azymbakiev;

- Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkiye Ruslan Kazakbaev;

- Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic Boobek Azhikeev;

- Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanatbek Abdrakhmanov.
