Bishkek, Sept. 20, 2021 /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov met with Chairwoman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva, who arrived in the country for an official visit.
The sides exchanged views on topical issues of inter-parliamentary and regional bilateral cooperation, the press service of the head of state reported.
The head of state expressed gratitude to the Parliament of Uzbekistan for all possible assistance in the development of inter-parliamentary and regional cooperation, as well as in the implementation of all agreements that were reached during negotiations with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in March this year.
Sadyr Zhaparov noted that this year the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan are celebrating the 30th anniversary of Independence and, in this regard, congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on this significant event.
Tanzila Narbaeva noted the positive changes in Kyrgyzstan as a result of reforms in all areas carried out by Sadyr Zhaparov.
She also conveyed sincere wishes of well-being to the entire Kyrgyz people from President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Tanzila Narbaeva assured that the parliament of Uzbekistan will in every possible way contribute to the implementation of the agreement reached during the state visit of Sadyr Zhaparov to Uzbekistan in March this year. She said that during the state visit, it was possible to resolve all topical issues of the joint agenda.
In conclusion, Sadyr Zhaparov asked Tanzila Narbaeva to convey his warm greetings to President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and also wished the brotherly Uzbek people peace, well-being and further prosperity.
