Kyrgyz President meets with EU High Representative Federica Mogherini

Brussels, Feb. 16/ Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev met in Brussels with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini.

The meeting took place in the office of the European External Action Service in Brussels within the framework of the Kyrgyz President’s working visit to Belgium and Germany.

The meeting was also attended by Kyrgyz delegation members: Foreign Minister Erlan Abdyldaev, chief of the foreign policy department of the President’s Office Aizada Subakozhoeva, Kyrgyzstan's Ambassador to Belgium, Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic at the Commission of the European Communities in Brussels Asein Isayev and presidential adviser Kalykbek Sultanov.

The European Union and the Kyrgyz Republic have been partners since the country's independence in 1991, sharing a political and economic dialogue which has continually expanded.
