Kyrgyz president meets with MPs

Bishkek, July 22, 2021. / Kabar / . Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov met on Wednesday with deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, his press service said.

During the meeting, there was an exchange of views on current socio-economic and socio-political issues, as well as relevant draft laws under consideration by the parliament.

President Zhaparov noted the important role of the Jogorku Kenesh in the political and public life of the country.

He stressed the need to focus all efforts on building an effective system of public administration.

The president drew attention to the importance of strengthening the trust of citizens in the institutions of state power and the principles of the rule of law.

He noted that the parliament, along with all branches of government, should work in a consolidated manner to quickly resolve various social and economic issues caused, among others, by the pandemic of coronavirus infection.
