Tashkent, Nov.29, 2019. /Kabar/. “It is important to continue the practice of holding Days of Culture, mutual participation in cultural festivals, exhibitions, scientific researches. This will help us to preserve and develop the human heritage of the peoples of Central Asia,” President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov said at the Second Consultative Meeting of Heads of Central Asian States in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
"I note with satisfaction the high level of cooperation between our countries in the cultural and humanitarian sphere. It is aimed, first of all, at preservation and development of the common cultural, informational and scientific and educational space.
I would like to quote the words of great Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov: “Historical community, linguistic similarities, common traditions and customs give us incalculable opportunities to be together and build a new world, a single civilized community,” he said.
The Kyrgyz President noted the need to promote the inter-ethnic cultural dialogue through joint efforts.
The Second Consultative Meeting of Heads of Central Asian State in Tashkent was attended by Presidents of Kyrgyzstan-Sooronbay Jeenbekov, Tajikistan-Emomali Rahmon, Turkmenistan- Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Uzbekistan- Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
