Kyrgyz president pledges to promote bill on volunteers

Bishkek, April 28, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov promised to promote bill on volunteers.

Answering questions of young people at the awarding ceremony of participants of the Children and Youth Friendly City contest on Wednesday, the president noted that volunteers showed an example of patriotism, heroism, courage and humanity during the pandemic, when the whole world was practically paralyzed because of the coronavirus.

"You are an example to all of us. I fully support your proposal to legalize the process of volunteering in the republic. A bill on volunteers, initiated several years ago, is now on the website of the Parliament for public discussion. I will promote this project," the head of state promised.
