Bishkek, Oct.24, 2019. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov received Adviser to Emir of Kuwait Abdullah Al-Maatuk.
The sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, the press service of the President reported.
Jeenbekov expressed gratitude to the Kuwaiti side for assistance in implementing various projects and charitable activities to support socially vulnerable groups of the country's population.
He also stressed Kyrgyzstan is interested in developing bilateral relations with Kuwait in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The Kyrgyz leader named the spheres of regional development, agriculture, digitalization, construction of social facilities and tourism as the priority areas of joint cooperation.
Adviser to Emir of Kuwait Abdullah Al-Maatuk thanked the President for the meeting.
He expressed readiness to provide further social support to improve the welfare of the population of Kyrgyzstan, expressing the Kuwaiti side is interested in deepening bilateral cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
