Bishkek, Apr. 23, 2020. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov received on Thursday Minister of Internal Affairs of the republic Kashkar Dzhunushaliyev.

The activities of the internal affairs bodies to combat coronavirus infection under the regime of emergency and state of emergency were discussed, the President’s press service reported.
President Jeenbekov once again noted the special importance of ensuring citizens' compliance with all quarantine and sanitary requirements, which is primarily due to the protection of public health.
He stressed the need to strengthen the measures, implemented jointly with the involved state bodies, aimed at preventing violations of the conditions of home quarantine and sanitary and epidemiological rules, as well as the establishment of all persons who had been contacted with those infected.
The Kyrgyz leader paid special attention to providing the involved employees of the internal affairs bodies with personal protective equipment and other necessary outfit.
Jeenbekov noted that implementation of the tasks set before the leadership of the Interior Ministry and commandants of the cities and regions where the state of emergency has been introduced is an important component in the fight against coronavirus infection.
The interior minister presented information on the current activities, aimed at ensuring public safety of citizens under the conditions of emergency and state of emergency.
Kashkar Dzhunushaliyev said that in order to implement measures related to preventing the spread of coronavirus infection, more than five thousand police officers and 500 vehicles are involved on a daily basis at checkpoints established in the territory of the country.
Also, more than a thousand police officers conduct daily patrols in cities and regions of the republic in order to ensure public safety.
Minister Dzhunushaliyev stressed that all internal affairs officers involved in the fight against infection are provided with everything necessary, including personal protective equipment.
