Bishkek, April 8, 2021 . / Kabar / . President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov held on Thursday an operational working meeting on the current epidemiological situation in the country, his press service said.
The meeting was attended by heads of regional health-organizations from all regions of the country. The current epidemiological situation in the country and necessary measures for its improvement and stabilization were discussed.
Heads of medical institutions reported on preparedness for a possible third wave of coronavirus infection pandemic, the provision of necessary medicines and personal protective equipment.
President Zhaparov set the tasks to provide medical institutions with a sufficient supply of drugs and organization of additional beds in them.
In addition, the head of state drew attention to the strengthening of work on early detection of cases of coronavirus infection, and stressed the need to immediately consider the purchase of additional batches of test systems.
At the end of the meeting, specific recommendations and instructions were given to combat further spread of coronavirus infection and improve the epidemiological situation in the republic.
