Bishkek, March 12, 2021 . / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov signed on Friday the Law "On the Calling of a Referendum (nationwide vote) on the Draft Law "On the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic", his press service said.
The Law was adopted by the Parliament of the republic on March 11, 2021.
According to the Law, the referendum is called throughout the territory of Kyrgyzstan on Sunday, Apr. 11, 2021.
The Draft Law "On the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic" will be submitted to the referendum for adoption by Kyrgyz citizens.
This Law shall come into force from the date of its official publication.
