Kyrgyz President tests negative for coronavirus

Bishkek, June 25, 2020. /Kabar/. Upon arrival in Bishkek, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov's coronavirus analysis has showed a negative result, his press secretary Tolgonai Stamaliyeva said.

She added Jeenbekov and members of the delegation passed on Wednesday a repeat coronavirus test when they arrived from Moscow.

"The Kyrgyz leader's analysis showed a negative result for the presence of the disease. President Sooronbay Jeenbekov continues to be self-isolated and is working remotely. At the same time, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the President's Office Daniyar Sydykov and security officer confirmed to have coronavirus infection. As their disease is asymptomatic, from today treatment will be carried out in conditions of home isolation," Stamaliyeva noted.

Other members of the delegation and the accompanying persons showed negative results. At the moment, they all continue to be in isolation.
