Kyrgyz president to attend meeting of Republican Council of heads of LSG bodies

Bishkek, Oct. 21, 2021 . / Kabar / . Today, Oct. 21 President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov will take part in a meeting of the Republican Council of heads of local self-government bodies and local state administrations, which will be held in Bishkek on Oct. 21-22, his press service said.

The event is held on the eve of the Day of Local Communities of the Kyrgyz Republic, celebrated on Oct. 25. It will be attended by the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan headed by Chairman of the Cabinet, Head of the Kyrgyz President’s Office Akylbek Zhaparov, presidential envoys in regions, mayors, heads of regions, heads of LSG bodies, representatives of state bodies.

Key issues of regional and national development, increasing the effectiveness of local self-government, as well as the quality and professionalism of LSG bodies will be discussed.

The Republican Council of heads of local self-government and local state administrations will be broadcast live on the Public Broadcasting Corporation of Kyrgyzstan, national and regional TV channels.
