Kyrgyz president to pay working visit to Turkmenistan

Bishkek, Oct. 10, 2024. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov to participate in the international forum “Interconnection of Times and Civilizations - Basis of Peace and Development” to be held in Turkmenistan.

On Oct. 10, the Kyrgyz leader will pay a working visit to Ashgabat at the invitation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Muratbek Azymbakiev.

The international forum is timed to the 300th anniversary of Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi.

“The event is expected to be attended by heads of Central Asian states and other countries. The upcoming international forum will be aimed at strengthening cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the countries,” Azymbakiev added.
