Bishkek, Nov. 8, 2022. /Kabar/. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Azizbek Madmarov held a meeting in Riyadh with First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Walid Al-Khureyji, as part of the first inter-MFA political consultations.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said that the parties noted with satisfaction the high dynamics of the development of bilateral relations and discussed further steps to strengthen them in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Al-Khureyji welcomed the Kyrgyz delegation and noted the importance of holding the first political consultations to identify priority areas for cooperation.
Taking into account the mutual official visits of the heads of foreign affairs agencies this year, the parties agreed to direct efforts to organize an official visit of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov to Saudi Arabia in the near future.
The parties also noted the importance of infrastructure and socio-economic projects implemented in Kyrgyzstan through the Saudi Development Fund, and focused on the promotion of new projects.
At the end of the meeting, Madmarov invited Al-Khureyji to visit the Kyrgyz Republic at any convenient time.
