Bishkek, Sept. 29, 2022 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, as part of his participation in the Fourth World Nomad Games, visited the memorial "Osman Gazi and Orkhan Gazi Turbesi" in Bursa (Turkiye).
Sadyr Zhaparov and First Lady Aigul Zhaparova were shown the ceremony of changing the guard of honor of the mausoleum, after which they examined the Osman Gazi and Orkhan Gazi Turbesi memorial.
Osman Gazi was the founder of the Ottoman state, lived between 1258-1326. After the conquest of Bursa in 1326, Orkhan Gazi fulfilled the will of his father Osman Gazi and buried him in the mausoleum. There is a wooden sarcophagus inlaid with mother-of-pearl inside the mausoleum. The mausoleum contains seventeen tombs belonging to the relatives of Osman Ghazi.
