Bishkek, Dec. 19, 2018. / Kabar /. “For now, one military base is enough for us,” said Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov at his press conference on activities for 2018, answering the question of whether it is possible to open a second military base in the south of the country.
He said that there was no talk about opening a second base similar to the CSTO base in Kant.
“Russia pays attention to strengthening the base in Kant. It seems to me that for the time being one base, which is in Kant, is enough,” he said.
