Bishkek, Mar. 6, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev met Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kyrgyz Republic Abdurahman bin Saeed Al-Juma, the press service of the Government Office of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the meeting, topical issues of cooperation and prospects for further interaction between Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia were discussed.
The Prime Minister noted with satisfaction the ongoing development of the relations in the cultural, humanitarian, tourist and other fields of mutual interest, and also thanked the Saudi side for its support and assistance, including through the Saudi Fund for Development.
Taking into account the intensification of contacts and the dynamics of development of relations in the field of tourism, mutual interest in promoting establishment of direct air links between Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia, which will further increase the number of tourists, increase trade and establish bilateral contacts was noted.
In addition, Abdurahman bin Saeed Al-Juma conveyed to Mukhammadkalyi Abylgaziev an invitation on behalf of King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to attend the closing ceremony of the Camel Fest ethnic festival, where the delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic is taking an active part.
The head of government wished success in holding the large-scale ethnic festival and expressed his gratitude to the Saudi side for the invitation.
