Bishkek, Jan. 23, 2018 / Kabar /. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov, within the framework of participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos (Switzerland) met with State Minister of Economy of the Swiss Confederation Johann Schneider-Ammann.
The Kyrgyz Government’s press service reported that at the meeting the topical issues, as well as priority areas of Kyrgyz-Swiss cooperation were discussed.
Sapar Isakov stressed that the Kyrgyz side attaches great importance to the further development of bilateral relations between the countries.
The Prime Minister stressed that at present the relevant state bodies of Kyrgyzstan are actively working to implement Taza Koom, the digital transformation program and the government Forty Steps to Prosperity program for 2018-2023.
Isakov said that, the introduction of the main components of these programs is envisaged with the attraction of foreign investments, and therefore called on the Swiss side to consider the possibility of participating in their implementation.
In addition, the sides discussed measures to implement the One Belt, One Road project aimed at creating infrastructure and establishing links between the countries of Eurasia.
From his part, the State Minister of Economy of Switzerland expressed readiness to support advanced technologies for the implementation of infrastructure projects in Kyrgyzstan.
Isakov invited Schneider-Ammann to visit Kyrgyzstan, to which he replied that he was planning a trip for July of this year.
