Kyrgyz Prime Minister arrives in Pakistan to participate in the 13th ECO Summit

Bishkek, March 1 / Kabar /. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Zheenbekov has arrived in Islamabad Islamic Republic of Pakistan to participate in the 13th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), the Kyrgyz Government’s press service reports.

Sooronbay Jeenbekov was met at the airport in Islamabad by Federal Minister of Pakistan Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Pakistan Erik Beishembiev.

13th ECO Summit will be held on March 1, 2017 in Islamabad. Participants will exchange views on enhancing regional cooperation in priority areas, discuss a number of topical issues and adopt Islamabad Declaration.

ECO was founded in 1985 and is the successor organization of Regional Cooperation and Development. Kyrgyzstan joined the Organization in 1992.
