Bishkek, Jan. 15, 2018 / Kabar /. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov held today a working meeting to discuss the current criminal situation in the country, the government’s press service reported.
Sapar Isakov said that this issue raises considerable concern among the population, and the relevant state bodies should ensure the proper security of the citizens of the country.
Minister of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulan Israilov said that today the main focus in the work of law enforcement bodies is aimed at improving the quality of investigation of crimes, as well as suppression and prevention of violations.
According to him, the overall detection rate for all types of crimes improved compared to the same period last year. In addition, Ulan Israilov said that the special attention is paid to uncover the resonant, grave and especially grave crimes in the country.
Chairman of the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurbek Abaskanov informed that within the framework of the implementation of the governmental program 40 Steps to New Era and Taza Koom project at the moment the department is working on the introduction of the automated information system "Electronic Book of Crime Records."
Completion of the project is scheduled for the end of the first quarter of this year.
The head of government stressed that the introduction of a single database of crime records would significantly facilitate and increase the transparency of the work of the internal affairs bodies.
At the same time, the Prime Minister noted that the implementation of the Smart City project will also contribute to increasing the detection of crimes in the country.
Isakov instructed the Ministry of Internal Affairs to continue active work to improve the criminal situation in the country, including combating organized crime and strengthening preventive measures among minors.
