Bishkek, Jan. 23, 2018 / Kabar /. Today Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov within the framework of participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos (Switzerland) met with President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Peter Mauer.
At the meeting key issues and prospects for further bilateral cooperation were discussed, the press service of the Government reported.
The Head of Government expressed his gratitude to Mr. Mauer for implementation of various humanitarian programs in Kyrgyzstan. According to the Prime Minister, the activity of the Red Cross is of special importance for the population of our country and is aimed to help in solving various social problems of the society.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the possibility of expanding the Red Cross mission in Kyrgyzstan and measures to further develop bilateral cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, Isakov invited Mr. Mauer to visit Kyrgyzstan this year.
