Bishkek, May 27, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyz Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziyev held a working meeting with the participation of Kyrgyz vice prime ministers, the press service of the government said.

At the meeting, Abylgaziev emphasized that the Government always strives to work honestly and openly.

“However, within the walls of the Jogorku Kenesh there was criticism of the government and the prime minister in connection with the criminal case related to the extension and re-registration of radio frequency resources, and calls to prove my innocence. I want to emphasize that I initially advocated protecting the economic interests of the state and selling frequencies only at public auctions and for withdrawing licenses from holders who do not meet the requirements of the law. I said this at the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh. Once again I declare that I have nothing to do with the case under investigation and I consider the politicization of this issue unacceptable. Law enforcement agencies must ensure that an objective and comprehensive investigation is conducted and those responsible must be held accountable. But in order to avoid accusations of exerting any pressure on the course of the investigation, as well as in order to conduct it impartially, I consider it necessary to take a short-term labor leave,” said Abylgaziev.

The prime minister instructed the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kubatbek Boronov, to ensure coordination of the work of the government and the stable functioning of state bodies during his vacation.
