Kyrgyz Prime Minister takes part in campaign launch against violence of women and children

Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2017. /Kabar/. Today Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov participated in the launch of the annual campaign "16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence", held at the United Nations House in Bishkek, the Prime Minister press service reported.

By pening the event, the head of government noted the special importance of holding this action. Addressing the problems of violence against women and children should be comprehensive and include components to ensure the safety of the population, increase the level of intolerance of violence in society, improve access to education and innovation said the Prime Minister,

"Together, we must prioritize the solution of this problem. By eliminating violence, we will be able to provide a better future for our country. And, first of all, we must start with ourselves," said Isakov.

The Prime Minister encouraged the citizens of the country to pay special attention to this issue. The implementation of the national project "Taza Koom" (Pure Society) will create conditions for improving people’s lives, increase access to education and innovation for women and girls, and will contribute to their economic well-being added Isakov.

"Kyrgyzstan is entering a new era of its development. We have been promoting the national project «Taza Koom" (Pure Society) for a year already. This is the innovative future of our country. Thanks to this project, we will live in a "pure" society, without corruption. The program is also aimed at improving the security system. Women and girls can not only feel the results of the program, but also actively participate in the project," the head of government stressed.

Isakov highlighted that thanks to the optimization of the republican budget in the framework of the "Taza Koom" (Pure Society) project, the Government will have the opportunity to allocate more funds to socially important issues, including addressing the problems of violence against women and children.

The Prime Minister stressed that all the recommendations voiced within the framework of this event will be sent to the relevant state bodies and taken under the control of the Government of the country.
