Kyrgyz products to be presented at InterFood Ural exhibition in Yekaterinburg

Bishkek, Jan. 25, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan will take part in the InterFood Ural exhibition in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that as part of the ongoing work to promote the export opportunities of Kyrgyz commodity producers, the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Yekaterinburg, together with responsible officials of the Sixth Political Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Investments Promotion and Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic, held a working a round table on Jan. 21, 2021, in Bishkek with representatives of domestic manufacturers in order to discuss and develop joint actions to enter the market of certain regions of the Ural Federal District of the Russian Federation.

This meeting was attended by 11 domestic manufacturers of food, agricultural and clothing products. The participants discussed topical issues of promoting domestic products in Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen and other regions, interaction with distributors, regional retail chains, as well as individual entrepreneurs engaged in retail trade in the Ural Federal District of Russia.

As a result of the meeting, a preliminary agreement was reached on organizing events to promote exports, in particular, product fairs in the Ural Federal District of Russia, as well as participation in the InterFood Ural exhibition (Yekaterinburg).
