Bishkek, May 27, 2020 / Kabar /. Human rights activists of Kyrgyzstan are ready to provide the necessary support to young programmers of the republic, the press service of the Ombudsman Institute of the Kyrgyz Republic said.
Earlier, Ombudsman Tokon Mamytov held a meeting with the developers of the ClickHelp Bot and Burulay programs, during which he suggested developing actions to introduce their programs in the field of human rights activities in the republic. Ombudsman Mamytov expressed firm conviction about the need for the proposed IT-developments and assured that the institute would make efforts to implement them in everyday use.
“The next step in our joint work in this direction may be a meeting with specific donors,” Mamytov said.
The ClickHelp Bot program is designed to help women and youth learn how to recognize signs of domestic violence, as well as to liaise with nearby crisis centers and psychologists.
The digital project Burulay is designed to integrate various solutions to the prevention of domestic violence on one platform.
The main objective of the Smart-Jomok program is to educate and support children through fairy tales.
Representatives of the crisis centers supported the voiced ideas, and also promised programmers that they would provide them with the legal or methodological assistance that would be needed in compiling tests to identify facts of violence against vulnerable segments of the population.
