Kyrgyz pupils earn silver and bronze of Iranian Geometry Olympiad

Bishkek, Oct.15, 2019. /Kabar/. 78 students from Kyrgyzstan in grades 7-11 took part in the VI Iranian Geometry Olympiad, the press service of the Education Ministry reported.

Adil Abdirasulov (Osh lyceum Sema) won the silver medal, bronze went to Barchynbek uulu Syimyk (Kyzyl-Kiya lyceum named after Razzakov). Both pupils wrote a difficult version of the Olympiad for pupils of the 11th grade.

The Iranian Geometry Olympiad is held for the sixth time. More than 6,200 students from 54 countries took part in it.

More than 50 problems were composed by authors from Russia, Poland, Great Britain, Vietnam, the Netherlands, Macedonia, Kosovo and Ireland.
