Kyrgyz riders to participate in int’l equestrian competition in Tashkent

Bishkek, April 17, 2022 . / Kabar / . Riders from Kyrgyzstan will take part in an international competition to be held on April 20-23 in Uzbekistan's Tashkent, Kabar News Agency has learnt from the organizing committee of the events.

The competition will also include stages of the World Cup and the Cup of Nations of the Eurasian League, the Cup of the Eurasian Association and other competitions.

These competitions are extremely important for the athletes' qualification. If they score enough points in all stages, they can compete in the World Championships in August 2022 in Denmark, as well as in the Grand Final of the 2022 Nations Cup, held annually in Barcelona in September, and compete in the final World Cup, held in April 2023 in Las Vegas.

Riders from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Finland, Georgia, Germany, Iran, Kazakhstan, Oman, Pakistan, Poland, Qatar, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, UAE, and the United States will also compete.

The competition will be held under the auspices of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports and the Asian Equestrian Federation.
