Bishkek, July 29, 2022. /Kabar/. Bishkek hosted on Friday the Kyrgyz-Russian inter-ministerial consultations at the level of First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Nuran Niyazaliev and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Andrei Rudenko.
During the consultations the sides discussed current issues of multifaceted Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation, interaction within international and regional organizations, and a detailed exchange of views on regional and global agendas, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.
Special attention was paid to the issues of cooperation in trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as implementation of agreements, reached at the level of heads of states and governments of both countries.
Nuran Niyazaliev expressed gratitude to the Russian side for the decision to lift the ban on entry into Russia for about 47,000 Kyrgyz citizens who had committed minor administrative offenses.
Highly appreciating the level of Kyrgyz-Russian relations, the parties noted the importance of further development of cooperation based on mutual trust and understanding, both at the bilateral level and within international and regional organizations such as the UN, CIS, EAEU, CSTO, SCO, OSCE and others.
