Kyrgyz, Russian Presidents talk over phone

Bishkek, Nov.17, 2019. /Kabar/. Yesterday, Nov.16 Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Russia Vladimir Putin talked over phone.

Vladimir Putin warmly congratulated Sooronbay Jeenbekov on his birthday and wished him success in his state activity, the press service of the Kyrgyz President reported.

During the meeting, the heads of state also discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, holding events within the framework of the Cross Year of Kyrgyzstan in Russia and Russia in Kyrgyzstan in 2020, as well as the upcoming session of the CSTO Collective Security Council, which will be held on Nov. 28 in Bishkek.

Earlier, Sooronbay Jeenbekov received a congratulatory message on his birthday from Russian President Putin.
