Bishkek, Dec. 19, 2018. /Kabar/. The Talent Preparation Laboratory International Olympiad among juniors (under 16) was held in Baku from December 10 to 15, 2018. The Olympiad was held in three subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry, the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Participating countries: Russia, Georgia, Belarus, Estonia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan.
Kyrgyzstan was represented by students from schools № 61, who completed olympiad training at the Kalem Ko educational institution: Bektur Konushbaev, Murat Satybaldiyev and Mikhail Tsoi.
Bektur Konushbaev won a bronze medal, taking 26th place in the individual competition.
Team competition:
1st place went to Russia 4 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze medals;
2 – Uzbekistan 3 silver medals;
3 – Tajikistan 1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze medals.
