Kyrgyz schoolchildren win medals at Asian Pacific Mathematics Olympiad

Bishkek, June 27, 2022. / Kabar /. Two Kyrgyz schoolchildren won two bronze medals at the 34th Asian Pacific Mathematics Olympiad.

According to the Ministry of Education, Tilek Askerbekov, 11th grade of the Lyceum named after Chyngyz Aitmatov and Korniyash Fedor, 7th grade of school No. 61.

Children from Kyrgyzstan have been participating in the Asian Pacific Mathematical Olympiad since 2009. Over the years, the national team of Kyrgyzstan has won 9 bronze medals.

The Asian Pacific Mathematics Olympiad (APMO) is a mathematical competition for countries in the Pacific-Rim Region. The APMO is held annually.
