Kyrgyz schools will continue to return to full-time education: Health Ministry

Bishkek, Jan. 19, 2021. /Kabar/. The return of schools to full-time education in Kyrgyzstan will continue, Deputy Health Minister of the republic Nurbolot Usenbayev said during a briefing on Tuesday.

He recalled that in November, the country partially began resuming education in schools.

"During this time, there have been no major outbreaks or changes in the epidemiological situation related to the work of educational institutions. There are isolated cases among teachers or students, but they are not related to the educational process. The situation is being monitored, there are commissions on the ground overseeing the situation. Therefore, the return to normal mode will continue," the deputy minister added.

As of today, 2,100 schools throughout Kyrgyzstan have resumed traditional mode of education.
