Kyrgyz SCRA, FAEA of Russia sign memorandum of understanding

Bishkek, Mar. 29, 2019. /Kabar/. On March 28, 2019, a Memorandum of Understanding between the State Commission for Religious Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic (SCRA) and the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs of the Russian Federation (FAEA) was signed in Bishkek within the state visit of President of the Russian Federation Putin to Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the commission reported.

According to them, the purpose of the memorandum is to cooperate on prevention of any forms of discrimination on the ground of religious affiliation and to prevent the spread of radical and extremist ideas in accordance with the laws of their states.

The document was signed by Ergeshov, Director of the State Commission for Religious Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Barinov, head of the FAEA of the Russian Federation.
