Kyrgyz security committee says Kyrgyzstanis have nothing to do with riots and looting in Kazakhstan

Kyrgyzstanis have nothing to do with the riots and looting in Kazakhstan, they became victims of part of the monstrous plans of the forces that provoked dramatic events in the neighboring fraternal country, say in the statement made by the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan.

In connection with the situation in fraternal Kazakhstan, the concern of the Kyrgyz public over the facts of detention by Kazakh law enforcement agencies of Kyrgyz citizens temporarily staying in Kazakhstan, the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic reports the following:

At present, the necessary bilateral contacts are maintained between the competent structures of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, aimed at ensuring regional security and law and order, in the context of the early restoration of stability in Kazakhstan. Practical and informational interaction continues as before, taking into account the current situation.

In connection with the concern of the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic with regard to their relatives subjected to detentions and other procedural actions by Kazakh law enforcement officers, the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic is confident that the competent authorities of Kazakhstan will ensure objectivity, since Kyrgyz citizens, the vast majority of whom are employed in trade and services, could accidentally be on the street by coincidence and be detained. Through bilateral channels, the competent structures of Kazakhstan were informed that Kyrgyz citizens do not and cannot have any relation to the riots and looting in Kazakhstan. Negative information regarding Kyrgyz citizens, which originates from the unfounded statements of the criminal authority nicknamed Wild Arman, and then picked up by those interested to drive a wedge between the fraternal Kyrgyz and Kazakh forces, especially in such a difficult period, is a continuation of a well-prepared information attack , as stated by the officials of Kazakhstan. And it is aimed at expanding the territory of chaos, unrest.

We are sure that the detained Vikram Ruzakhunov and other our compatriots who found themselves in such a situation are the victims of a part of the monstrous plans of the forces that provoked dramatic events in fraternal Kazakhstan.

In turn, the State Committee for National Security and other competent state bodies, as always, are ready for joint measures with the Kazakh brothers, and hope that the Kazakh authorities will objectively figure it out, do not succumb to the anti-Kyrgyz rhetoric imposed by the interested forces.

We call on the relatives of the detained persons to calmness, patience, mutual understanding and to pray for both their loved ones and our Kazakh brothers, for the speedy restoration of calm and law and order in Kazakhstan, which became native to the Kyrgyz.
