Bishkek, April 4 / Kabar /. The State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic cooperates with colleagues from Russia over the explosion in the St. Petersburg metro, the press service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The State Committee for National Security commented on the Russian media reports that on Tuesday, April 4, the special services of Kyrgyzstan called the 22-year-old Akbarzhon Zhalilov possible executor of the terrorist attack in the St. Petersburg metro.
"The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan officially informed the media that the citizen who was requested by the special services of the Russian Federation was indeed a native of Kyrgyzstan, but has Russian citizenship. We did not name this person's name, did not give photos, and did not call him a possible executor of the terrorist act in the Petersburg metro,” the State Committee explained.
In addition, the State Committee for National Security reported that members of the Akbarzhon Zhalilov family were questioned in Osh.
"The family was interrogated in the context of operational-search activities," the special services of the Kyrgyz Republic added.
