Bishkek, Jan. 6, 2021 / Kabar /. The State Committee for National Security has opened an operational headquarters that constantly monitors the pre-election situation in the country, as well as coordinates territorial divisions and their interaction with other state structures, the press service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.
In addition, the personnel of the State Committee for National Security has been transferred to an enhanced version of service. The committee worked out the interaction with local authorities and law enforcement agencies during the elections on Jan. 10, 2021.
According to the document, the main attention is paid to the timely identification and prevention of signs of preparation of provocative actions by destructive groups, religious extremist and criminal groups aimed at disrupting the electoral process.
Measures of anti-terrorist protection of strategic important objects of the state's life have been strengthened. Together with law enforcement agencies and the border service, the filtration work of entry and exit of citizens is carried out in order to identify members of terrorist and religious extremist organizations, as well as in border areas to prevent conflict situations.
In the current situation, the State Committee for National Security is actively working to preserve the social and political stability of Kyrgyzstan and ensure the safety of its citizens. The State Committee for National Security calls on citizens to refrain from distributing materials of a provocative nature that can lead to tension and destabilization of the socio-political situation in the country during the presidential elections and the referendum in Kyrgyzstan.
