Bishkek, July 3, 2019. /Kabar/. Four tank crews of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan flew to Chelyabinsk city (Russia) to prepare for the Tank Biathlon international championship, the press service of the General Staff of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces reported.
Before the departure, Kyrgyz servicemen together with the team's head trainer Colonel Viktor Kosachev had been trained at the Edelweiss Training Center for several months and also underwent a thorough medical examination, during which their moral and psychological state and physical training were studied.
The regular World Tank Biathlon Championship with participation of crews of over 25 countries planned on Aug.3-17, 2019 in the Russian Federation at the Alabino military ground.
The Tank Biathlon 2019 is an international tank crew’s race with various obstacles. All the crews perform under equal conditions and the final outcome may depend on the crews’ maneuverability and coordinated work. Every year thousands of people gather together to watch how tank aces operate their combat vehicles, overcome various obstacles and hit the targets.
